Fat Burning Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • 1 ½ C. almond butter, unsalted and raw
    (best to use almond butter, not peanut butter)
  • ½ C. honey or 100% maple syrup
  • 2 eggs or 4 TBSP. chia seeds for 1 egg
  • 1 TBSP. vanilla extract
  • ½ TSP. salt (only add the salt if you’re
    using unsalted almond butter)
  • ½ TSP. baking soda
  • ½ TSP. baking powder
  • 2/3 C. shredded, unsweetened coconut
  • ½ C. dark chocolate chips (70% or higher cocoa)

Preheat oven to 350°F.
Oil baking sheets (coconut oil is preferred) or line with parchment paper.
Stir together first 7 ingredients. Mix well. Make sure honey is fully incorporated.
Added coconut and chocolate chips. Mix well.
Scoop with a cookie scoop onto cookie sheets.
Bake 9 – 12 minutes or until lightly browned
