“CHECK IT OFF” CHALLENGE!
Ever feel like you’re in “overwhelm” mode, trying to remember the million and one things you have to do?
Welcome to this week’s challenge – the “Check It Off” Challenge!
This one’s all about getting organized and finally getting stuff DONE.
It’s pretty simple. Basically, just write a to-do list of the things that will make the MOST difference in moving you forward towards the goals you have in your life right now – and then check off at least FIVE THINGS on that list this week!
Remember to break larger goals up into mini ones- so they are bite sized and manageable… these are activities or tasks that you can literally put right into your calendar!
So, if your goal is to lose weight or improve your fitness, your goal might be to get in a certain number of workouts, pack your gym bag the night before, or plan and pack your meals ahead of time.
But let’s take it to the next level and get a little more specific: Example- your goal isn’t to “workout this week”…. it’s to workout at 5:30am, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday this week!
Make sure your list ONLY has things you actually have time to accomplish this week. This isn’t about setting yourself up for failure and putting too much on your plate. This just ends up frustrating you and you end up moving things from week to week.
This is about breaking things down and creating simple tasks that’ll streamline your life and help you gain steam when it comes to conquering goals.
Simply writing down your list, will help get rid of that feeling of overwhelm. Breaking them up into smaller activities, and then checking those items off, will empower you to do even more!
What are some items on your to-do list? Please share! Let’s get some ideas going! Are you IN for the “Check It Off” Challenge!?

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Let’s Live Each Day This Week With A
SPECIFIC INTENTION!
Happy New Year!! Let’s kick off 2018 with one of the most powerful forces in the universe….intention!
Most of us wake up, and then get quickly sucked up into the business of each day. However the difference in your day is INCREDIBLE when you start each day with one single, specific “intention.”
Basically, it’s a single underlying goal or “mantra” for the entire day.
Maybe it’s health-related – “To do whatever I can to support my health goals.” Maybe it’s to be of service to others. Or perhaps you’re more focused on your business or career goals on a given day. (BTW, there can be overlap between all of those things!)
That’s your challenge for this week: setting an intention for your day, and then refocusing yourself on it if you find yourself getting off-track.
This is important because having an intention goes far beyond checking things off your “to-do list” – it goes towards *why* those things are on your list in the first place.
You’d be surprised the difference that setting a daily intention can make when it comes to conquering your goals. The less important stuff tends to fall away, saving you time and energy for things that will create the most impact.
You might notice that every day your intention is a little different … which is OK (and actually a great thing!).
Once you have your intention, check in every hour or so and bring it to the front of your mind. This will allow you to be fully present with whatever your intention is – which can also actually help reduce stress.
Something that may help is wearing a bracelet, where every time you look at it, you remind yourself of your intention.
Something else that’s awesome…., if you’ve got Google Chrome, you definitely need to check out the “Momentum” extension. It not only helps remind you of your daily intention each time you open a new browser window, but it also integrates with a bunch of different productivity apps that help you create a to-do list for the day. 🙂
Check it out here (it’s totally free):

Are you up for setting an intention every day this week!?

10 Minutes Daily for Personal Development
Personal development used to have a stigma attached to it. People used to duck in the isles and do anything to avoid being seen in the “self-help” section of the bookstore.
SO glad that’s not the case anymore!! Personal development is IN and it’s something that EVERYONE is talking about now- and I love it.
Taking the time to invest in ourselves helps us to keep things in perspective, prioritize, focus, to better handle the good and bad that comes our way, and to help us create a path to live a happier, more successful, and more fulfilled life.
Audible, Amazon, the Internet, and your local bookstore put all of this information at our fingertips.
There are so many books in each category! You’ll find books teaching you how to:
• Create more self-awareness
• Find your sense of direction and purpose
• Develop better focus on concentration
• Find your inner motivation and drive
• Develop more resilience and inner strength
• Create more fulfilling relationships
• Improve your communication skills
• Kick habits
• Improve memory
• Overcome fears and phobias
• And the list goes ON!
Your challenge this week is to make the commitment, spend the time, and invest in yourself.
Focus on the life you want to CREATE and the areas in your life that if you shifted just one single degree up, would have a big improvement in the quality of your life!
Your challenge this week is to watch a video, listen to an audio book, or read an article or book that addresses one of these areas in your life that you want to develop. I’ve just started a book called “The Book of Forgiving” … so far so good!
You up for the challenge and want to join me!?
Let us know in a comment below if you’ll be setting aside at least 10 minutes each day just for YOU!
