Visualization Challenge

What do Arnold Schwarzenegger, Oprah, Jim Carrey, Lindsey Vonn (Olympic Gold Medalist), and Will Smith all have in common?

They ALL practice visualization for success.

Visualization is a simple yet incredibly powerful technique for growth and self-development.

That doesn’t mean if you think about something, it’ll magically appear right in front of you. But just ask any elite athlete or high performer… if you practice visualization regularly, you’ll be a LOT more likely to achieve your goals with a lot less effort.

Studies have shown that visualization will literally help your mind create a neural pattern for whatever it is you’re visualizing.

This means that you’re training your brain for physical performance even though you’re not taking any physical action!

There are two types of visualization. One focuses on the outcome and the other on the process itself. But they are usually most effective when practiced together.

That’s why your challenge this week is to think about a goal that is really important to you and VISUALIZE your success in reaching that goal.

Visualize yourself going through each and every movement with detail and precision. Visualize your success at the end- and don’t leave out a single detail. The more specific you can get the better.

Remember- visualization can’t replace hard work and practice, but combined with it, it will absolutely increase your chances of achieving your goals.

For this challenge, I want you to block off 5 minutes each day this week to dedicate to visualizing your success on something that is really important to you.

If it truly is important, this could be one of the most life-changing exercises you ever do.
